WATER OVER CLOUDS
A cultural studio. An artist collective. A venture partner.
A space for creative research and cultural innovation.
Art de vivre.
Water Over Clouds is an evolving body of work spanning painting, research, spatial installation, and architectural study. We treat art as investigation -- and investigation as material. Written research informs constructed environments. Installations extend drawings into space. Architecture becomes a way of thinking through culture and technology. Nothing here is separate; it is one continuous practice.
Manifesto
It's a mantra, a mood, and a reminder: we make from a place of calm power, not fear.
As a moniker, Water Over Clouds becomes WOC -- a nod, a remix, a cultural code. A phrase that moves between timelines: ancient memory, modern youth, future design.
We are a studio and a space for many voices. Home to filmmakers, photographers, musicians, technologists, and curators -- each an artist in residence, each part of the collective hum.
Together, we play with form and function. We make films and interfaces. We design sounds, campaigns, and spatial experiences. We build tools -- and we build meaning.
This is a place where ideas can float, ripple, or land like thunder. Where stories are crafted as much as systems are designed. Where you'll find both research and rhythm. A stage. A sketchbook. A server. A sanctuary.
